THE MAN IN THE QUEUE
This video made me think about how there´s a force that we can call God, karma, the universe, etc., that keeps a balance among us, and that today you helped someone or refused the help, and tomorrow you don´t know if you are going to see that person again and for sure how you treated him/her, is gonna be the way that you treated him/her.
ASKING FOR FOOD IN NY
This video shows us how a man asks for food to people "with money", and they reject him and one of them is very rude about it. Then the same man gives sevral slices of pizza to a homeless and then 20 minutes later, the guy ask him if he if can have a slice and the homeless says yes, and that´s beacuase the homeless knows the pain of being hungry and in a way that transforms people, because they have suffer, and the video made me ask myself if the suffering and the pain is necessary to make the people conscious about the situation of others.
THIS IS WATER
"This is water" is a speech that talks about the simple and tiny things that we think are annoying but they are really meaningful because you don´t know what is gonna happen tomorrow, and we need to take a moment to appreciate everything before death instead of thinking in death but I think we souldn´t think about it, we should just do it and if it was good it would be awesome but if it is something bad or something you regret of, it would be awesome too, because that way you learn more.
UNION IS STRENGTH
What I undersood about the video is that if you are alone you are useless and weak and that if someone attacks you, you are gonna get hurt for sure. But if you travel in group and you defend yourselves as a group you can hurt other people just to save your butt.

Day of the Dead
Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de Muertos) is a Mexican holiday observed throughout Mexico and around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. In 2008 the tradition was inscribed in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
It is particularly celebrated in Mexico where the day is a public holiday. Prior to Spanish colonization in the 16th century, the celebration took place at the beginning of summer. It was moved to October 31, November 1 and November 2 to coincide with the Roman Catholic triduum festival of All hallowtide: All Hallows' Eve, Hallowmas, and All Souls' Day.Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars called ofrendas, honoring the deceased usingsugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these as gifts. Visitors also leave possessions of the deceased at the graves.
Scholars trace the origins of the modern Mexican holiday to indigenous observances dating back hundreds of years and to an Aztec festival dedicated to the goddess Mictecacihuatl. The holiday has spread throughout the world, being absorbed within other deep traditions for honoring the dead. It happens to be a holiday that has become a national symbol and as such is taught (for educational purposes) in the nation's schools, but there are many families who are more inclined to celebrate a traditional "All Saints Day" associated with the Catholic Church.
Originally, the Day of the Dead as such was not celebrated in northern Mexico, where it was even unknown until the 20th century; before that the people and the church rejected it in northeastern Mexico because they perceived the day was a result of syncretizing pagan elements with Catholicism. They held the traditional 'All Saints Day' in the same way as other Catholics in the world. This is due to the limited or nonexistent Mesoamerican influence in this region, and the relatively few indigenous inhabitants, compared to other regions of Mexico. In the early 21st century in northern Mexico, Día de Muertos is observed because the Mexican government made it a national holiday by its educational policies from the 1960s and has tried to use it as a unifying national tradition in the north of the country.
In Brazil, Dia de Finados is a public holiday that many Brazilians celebrate by visiting cemeteries and churches. InSpain, festivals and parades are frequently held and people often gather at cemeteries and pray for their deceased loved ones at the end of the day. Similar observances occur elsewhere in Europe, and similarly themed celebrations appear in many Asian and African cultures.
In France and some other European countries, All Souls Day was observed by visits of families to the graves of loved ones, where they left chrysanthemums. Writer Marguerite Yourcenar observed that
"autumnal rites are among the oldest celebrated on earth. It appears that in every country the Day of the Dead occurs at the year's end, after the last harvests, when the barren earth is though to give passage to the souls lying beneath it."
She also notes exceptions to the autumn season, such as the Buddhist Bon festival which is held in summer. But similarly themed celebrations of honoring the dead have been practiced since prehistoric times in many Asian and African cultures.

BLACK CLAY
Is a style of pottery from Oaxaca, Mexico distinguished by its color, sheen and unique designs. Oaxaca is one of few Mexican states which is characterized by the continuance of its ancestral crafts, which are still used in everyday life. Barro negro is one of several pottery traditions in the state, which also include the glazed green pieces of Santa María Atzompa however, barro negro is one of the best known and most identified with the state. It is also one of the most popular and appreciated styles of pottery in Mexico. The origins of this pottery style extends as far back as the Monte Alban period and for almost all of this pottery's history, had been available only in a grayish matte finish. In the 1950s, a potter named Doña Rosa devised a way to put a black metallic like sheen onto the pottery by polishing it before firing. This look has made the pottery far more popular. From the 1980s to the present, an artisan named Carlomagno Pedro Martínez has promoted items made this way with barro negro sculptures which have been exhibited in a number of countries.
